Morning, my Friends! I hope your morning is off to a pleasant start.
Whew! I feel as if I have not written a blog in forever. It has been since Christmas Eve. Life surely gets away from us at times. Speaking of Christmas Eve, I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I think I probably had one of my best ever. Not because I got any extraordinary gifts or anything like that. It was simply because I was able to do for others in a way I have not been able to do in previous years. My children were so good to their Momma this year. I am so blessed. The best part of the holiday was having my family dinner on the 26th. There is nothing that brings me more joy than having my family together. I just wish I had a bigger home so I could have even more family with me at times. All in due season ... LOL! We can dream, can't we?
What are your New Year's resolutions? I really did not make any but there are things I desire to do. I want to draw closer to God daily ... I want to get back on my 7.2 because I am certainly feeling the effects of being off of it. I have not really put on anymore weight, but my body is feeling right much pain again. The 7.2 products alleviate me from a lot of daily suffering, and losing the weight is nice too! With that being said, I got back on the scales yesterday and I am off and running. I will keep you posted.
I guess you read of our nightmare with our dogs. If not, then go to my "Articles" page and read "The Sun is Shining Again". It was quite the ordeal. God is so good! The dogs are getting better daily, and it is so good to see them wagging their tails again. I still have a hard time believing it all happened, but it did and God brought us through. Seeing my husband's faith during this storm was pretty amazing for someone who has only been walking with the Lord for a little over two months. God is moving in big ways in his life, and it is so nice to see. It does the heart good when you see a loved one come to Christ? God has heard my prayers for many, and I see His hand upon people I have prayed diligently for.
Best news for last ... I have signed up to be a Mary Kay Consultant! That's right ... you heard me correctly! I am not sure what came over me or what encouraged me to do it, but I felt so strongly about it. I went to a party at my sister's house ... had SO MUCH fun ... and when it was over, I had this strong inclination to become a consultant. I did not do it that night as I wanted some time to ponder over it. The thought was so foreign to me. I have been to many parties (i.e., Tupperware, Mary & Martha, Mary Kay, etc.). I have never been in the least tempted to be a consultant. Now as I look back, I truly feel that this ... for whatever reason ... is of God. I see where I can do a lot for Him through this, and it is so much fun. I never laughed so hard as I did the night of my sister's party. To fellowship with other ladies is such a joy, and I look forward to bringing others the same enjoyment. Tonight is my first meeting, and I am excited! I will let you know how it goes!
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Be a blessing to someone, and always walk in faith knowing God has your back!
