Morning! I sure hope you are not up reading this right now. It is the time of morning where we all should be having sweet dreams. 3:00 - 3:30 seems to be my wake up time these days. I sure hope I get acclimated to sleeping better once I am moved and settled. I hate being up at this time of morning. It ruins my day. Around 3:00 in the afternoon, I am ready for bed. If I am not productive and moving about, I will fall asleep. Not the norm for me. I never liked taking naps during the day because they always made me feel worse rather than better. I think a lot of this has to do with my poor eating habits I have established since things shifted so drastically in my life. I was telling my husband last night that I really need to get back to eating better and exercising again. It is one of my top priorities in the coming days. I think my sleep patterns, the unrelenting headaches, and my overall health will definitely improve!
Donnie and I went to El Jaripeo (?) last night for dinner. The food was good. The problem with me is that I always get the same thing ... regardless of what Mexican restaurant I am at. I need to expand my horizons. Based on my very limited taste buds, I would have to say I like El Agaves the best. Of course, if given the choice, I would do pasta or seafood over Mexican any day!
Not much on my agenda for today except to try and piece together some loose ends. I am going to work on my Mary Kay business. I have some educational tools I need to study. The new Fall products are AWESOME!!!! I so enjoy my business. It gives me so much flexibility in my life ... added income ... rewards are off the charts ... and I love the way it challenges me. It has brought me out of my comfort zone on more than one occasion, and though uncomfortable at the time, it is exhilarating!!!! I have met some of the finest people during my short 1 1/2 years in Mary Kay. Women of integrity ... strong Christian women ... women with sophistication ... women who are making their mark in the lives of others. God has opened doors for me to truly be a blessing to women through my business. Starting on the 25th of August, I will be doing facials for a Pregnancy Center. I love encouraging other women during the difficult times in their lives. It is so true that in blessing others you forget all the problems you have on your own plate. It is uplifting and brings such peace to your soul.
My son starts college on Monday ... his 2nd semester! I will be glad to see him return this year. I think the summer is getting the best of him now. Too much down time since he gave his notice at his job. I would guess he is more than ready to return too! We need to pray for all our young people today. This world we live in is steadily unraveling. Were I a young couple today I am not so sure I would desire children. Then on the other hand, if I were young and became pregnant (whether planned or unplanned), I would have peace in knowing God had a special plan for my unborn child. We all are born with a purpose. Whether we fulfill our purpose in life is our choice, but God had a destination for us before we were even formed in our mother's womb. Knowing this, I probably would welcome a child!
